Introducing….SoloFriendly Burlington, VT pages!

Church Street Marketplace

Finally, after weeks of typing away behind the scenes, running around town taking photos, and tons of online research, I am finished! (Well, as finished as I can be with pages that will have to be maintained, added to, and updated on a regular basis.) This has been a labor of love, to be sure, but hard labor, nonetheless. You will now see, on the navigation bar at the top of every page on this site, a link to SoloFriendly Burlington, VT. These pages are to promote solo travel to this beautiful city on Lake Champlain and to encourage solos already in Burlington to get out and do things by themselves more by offering suggestions of solo-friendly restaurants, as well as solo-friendly lodging and activities.

As the overview page of SoloFriendly Burlington, VT states, this is a great easy getaway for someone who is dipping their toes in the solo travel pool. It’s a small city, fairly safe, friendly, pedestrian-friendly, with plenty to see and do. Try it for a weekend, or be bold and stay for a few days or a week. I hope I have managed to convey my love for this area in my pages, because I wouldn’t have spent all this time gathering this information for solo travelers if I didn’t love Burlington. I grew up in rural Vermont, so when I moved to Burlington, it was the “big city.” After 18 years, it doesn’t seem so big any more, but I still love living here. I hope you will enjoy visiting just as much.

If you do decide to take the plunge and plan a solo trip here, be sure to email me; I’d love to hear from you!
