If you’re Irish (or not Irish but looking for a reason to celebrate this time of year), St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, and so is Burlington’s Irish Heritage Festival. This year’s fundraising raffle features two round-trip tickets to Ireland (don’t know if you could use both tickets on separate occasions or not), a $100 gift certificate to Ri Ra, the Irish Pub, two tickets for Grada and Slide (irish music) at the Flynn Center, and more. Festival events occur between Tuesday, March 10 and Saturday, March 28, with the bulk of them taking place by Tuesday, March 17. For the full schedule of events, visit the Festival’s website.
And don’t forget, the SD Ireland cement trucks parade down Main Street in Burlington at 3pm on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17). It’s a hoot.
