For those of you who don’t read my other blog, I’ve been in Las Vegas for the past week for the Christmas holiday. I had a blast. At this very moment, I was supposed to be home in Burlington, but my flight home last night was canceled, and now I’m stuck in Vegas for a [...]

Air Travel Tales: Puerto Rico
Last month, following the attempted bombing of a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, the TSA rashly came out with some new “security” measures for international flights coming into the U.S. that would supposedly make us all safer when flying (but not really), such as not letting passengers have reading materials or potty breaks during the [...]
Back from Disney World
I am back from my second solo trip to Disney World, and what a wonderful vacation it was! My last trip was so short, and I spent every minute of the day trying to cram in as much activity as possible, that I was more exhausted when I returned home than when I left. What [...]
Et tu, Jetblue?
Jetblue has been my favorite airline since it has been in existence, and I have given it a lot of love in my blog. I love their roomy, comfy seats and their TVs, their snacks, and their customer service. My only “bad” experiences with them weren’t bad enough to make me stop loving them [...]

The prizes accumulate each day ala “a partridge in a pear tree”, only without the lords a leaping. You can sign up to win daily. Yeah, sorry I didn’t mention this yesterday. But you still have 4 [...]
Getting Around New Orleans, Part 1
I flew into and out of New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport during my recent visit to the Big Easy. As airports go, it’s on the small side compared to most airports I’ve traveled through. But it’s clean and bright and it didn’t take long to get my bags upon my arrival or to get [...]
$9 flights?!
Jetblue just announced it is the “official airline of the Boston Red Sox” (Sox fans rejoice!), and to celebrate, they’re offering some out-of-the-park fare sales between Boston and other major league cities nationwide, including $9 flights between Boston and Buffalo and $29 between Boston and New York City. Check it out at their website.
