The Yummy Mummy Club

Just a short note to let you all know I have an article published in this month’s Yummy Mummy Club about Vegas for the Solo Mom.  The Yummy Mummy Club is a website for real, contemporary moms who totally get that their whole lives don’t need to revolve around their kids, nor do they need to be superwomen.

By their definition, “A true Yummy Mummy struggles to find the impossible balance between the single sexpot she used to be, the woman she’s become, the professional she works hard to be, the wife she aspires to be and the mother she has to be. Basically, she’s confused and exhausted.”

Emphasis on the word “balance.”  Which is where solo travel comes in.  When a woman spends most of her time giving to others, she needs to balance that with taking some time for herself.  The women at Yummy Mummy get that.  They have some great travel articles about traveling with and without the family as well as non-travel articles geared toward the contemporary mom.  Check them out at http://www.yummymummyclub.ca/.
