I just got an email yesterday from Goldstar Events--the show ticket discounter–advertising some really amazing prices on some top-tier Vegas shows: $49.50-62.70 for Danny Gans at the Wynn (I paid over $100 for that show a few years ago!), $82.50 for Le Reve at the Wynn, $62.50-89.20 for Blue Man Group at the Venetian, and $52.80 for Penn and Teller at the Rio. (Be sure to compare these prices against the show tickets sold at their websites; if you don’t care where you sit, you can sometimes still get nosebleed seats for a cheaper price than what you’ll find at Goldstar. And sometimes not.) There are also great deals on some B list shows; for instance, I’ve heard the Fab Four Beatles tribute band is really terrific.
In recent years, show tickets on the strip have pushed $100 and in many cases gone way, way over that, so if you can get a ticket for a good show for this much under $100, you’re already ahead of the game. If you’re planning a trip to Vegas and you haven’t checked out Goldstar Events yet, give it a try. The best thing about this is that unlike many other Vegas discounts, this is NOT a 2-for-1. Solo travelers can take full advantage.
Update: Not to be outdone, Travelzoo has a couple of deals for Vegas, too–not just a show, but a great deal for the Hard Rock Hotel, too (I hope they’re still giving away free cabana rentals when it’s time for my next trip to Vegas!). Enjoy:
$69-$125 — Experience ‘Le Rêve’ at 30% OFF including VIP Seats. As seen in Travelzoo’s Top 20 Newsletter
$69 — Las Vegas 4-Star Hotel w/FREE Poolside Cabana Rental– As seen on Travelzoo’s Top 20
Remember my motto: Never pay full price if you don’t have to.
